Where do I send my payment?

My billing statement looks wrong.
Why am I being charged twice?
Since tuition and fees are charged on a per credit hour basis,
there will be a entry on your billing statement for registration fees,
student fees, and the college fee each time you change your registration.
What is the Non-Resident
Tuition Scholarship?
If your student has a Non-Resident Tuition Scholarship awarded to them, the non-resident tuition will not be charged on the
student account.
How can I check the status of my bank loan or scholarship?
Contact the Financial Aid Office at (479) 575-3806 for information
regarding any financial aid question.
Why is my financial aid not applied to my account?
Financial aid appears as anticipated aid on your first billing statement for a semester. Most financial aid is automatically
applied about a week before classes begin. Financial Aid can be viewed in ISIS through: Self Service >Student Center > Finances > View Financial Aid. If you have questions regarding financial aid, contact the Financial Aid Office at (479) 575-3806.
Can I pick up my refund check?
No, university policy is to mail ALL checks. If you are receiving a refund and would like it to be direct deposited, you
may sign up for direct deposit through you Student Center on ISIS. The link is located beneath " account inquiry" on the
left side of the screen. Financial Aid checks will be mailed about 3 days before classes start. Please make sure that
your check address is correct. Addresses may be updated on ISIS.
Can I pay my tuition in installments?
Yes, as long as your balance due is for current tuition, fees and
housing. There is a $25.00 non-refundable charge for this
service.
How do I pay my past due balance?
Any balance that is not for a current semester is directed to the
Collections Department of the Treasurer's Office. They will
assist you with your questions or make payment arrangements.

What is an eCheck?
eCheck is a payment option for tuition/fee payments accessed via the ISIS Student Center. When you
make an eCheck payment, funds are deducted from your bank account, much like writing a check against
your account. You must make sure that sufficient funds exist in your account to cover your payment.
The transaction will appear on your bank statement as UAF – Tuition & Fees .
How do I make an eCheck payment?
eCheck payments cannot be accepted at the University Cashier’s Office window or over the telephone.
All eCheck payments must be initiated by you through ISIS.

Is the eCheck payment option charged the convenience fee?
No, eCheck payments are not assessed the convenience fee for Tuition/Fee payments.
What is the eCheck Registration/Confirmation process?
In order to use the eCheck payment option, you must register and confirm that you want to use the
eCheck payment option. The confirmation process also demonstrates your ownership of the registered
email account. The eCheck registration process needs to be completed only once for the duration that
you have an active ISIS account under the same ISIS login ID. To learn about the eCheck

What is the secret question used for?
The eCheck Payment system is a secure payment method and thus requires that you authenticate your
identity to the system using your secret question/answer combination. The answer you select is
case-sensitive. If you forgot your answer, after 7 failed login attempts, your account will be
locked until it is reset by Treasurer’s Office staff. You will be notified that you need to
re-register for the eCheck Payment System. If you lock your account on a weekend or after 5PM
Monday-Friday, it may not be reset until the next business day.
What is a Federal Perkins Loan?
A Federal Perkins Loans is a campus-based student loan program.
This means that the University awards and collects on the student loan.
The Perkins Loan has an interest rate of 5%. The grace period (the
period of time between leaving the University or dropping below
half-time status and repayment) on this loan is 9 months. The minimum
payment is $40.00 per month.
What happens with my student loan after I leave the University of
Arkansas?
Your loan is placed in grace status for nine months; and then it's reclassified
into repayment status. The University of Arkansas mails student loan invoices
each month. Payment is always due on the 1st of each month.
When are my payments due?
The payments on the Federal Perkins Loan are due on the 1st of each month.
The University contracts with a student loan servicer, Educational Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI)
who mails a monthly invoice to update you on the status of
your loan. The Federal Perkins Loan is not in repayment status until nine
months after you have dropped below half-time status or have left the
University.
I can't find my statement and my payment is due. What should
I do?
Your payment is always due on the 1st of each month. Be sure to put
your ID number on your check or money order and indicate that it is a
student loan payment. Mail your payment to the following address:

Can I make extra payments on my loan account(s)?
You may make extra payments on your loan at any time. Send
your extra payment to ECSI at the address listed above. All
extra payments received on your student loan are applied to the principal
balance on your account.
What types of deferment options are there on my loan and how do I
apply?

Am I eligible for partial loan cancellation?
You may be eligible for a partial cancellation if you are:

What should I do?

up the correct plan of action for your individual loan.
ACCOUNTING OFFICE FAQ'S:
Where is my payroll check?
Check with your department representative to see if checks have been received.
If your check has not been delivered to your department, call Human Resources
at (479) 575-4851 and verify that there is no I-9 hold and that your Budgetary
Unit (departmental address) is updated and correct. If you have been
previously employed at the University of Arkansas, contact your former
department to see if they have received the check. (This will occur if
your current department has not updated the budgetary unit). Human
Resources will contact the Treasurer’s Office to see if the check has
been returned or mailed to a different address. If a check cannot be located,
Human Resources will process the stop payment and reissue your check.
What is the deadline for being 100% appointed in order to receive
the employee discount?
You must be 100% appointed by the last day of registration for the semester
you wish to attend.
How many total hours are eligible for the employee spouse/dependent
discount?
A spouse or dependent is eligible for 132 hours.
Can you use the spouse/dependent discount for graduate or law school?
The discount only applies to undergraduate status. Please refer to the
Fee Waivers
page for additional information.
