Dropping Classes and Adjustments to Your Account

After the fifth class day — August 28, 2009 — there is no cancellation of tuition and fees for full term courses that are dropped while you continue to be enrolled. Tuition and fees are cancelled at 100% for full term courses dropped on or before August 28, 2009 as long as you remain enrolled.

Withdrawal from the University

You will not receive 100% adjustment of tuition and fees unless you officially withdraw on or before August 23, 2009. Students who register and then decide not to attend must officially withdraw from the University before the first day of classes to receive 100% tuition and fee cancellation. Students receiving financial aid who drop or withdraw from classes may be responsible for repayment of loans and other financial assistance. Installment Plans for Tuition and Fees

Students may pay tuition, fees and housing charges for the current term in five, four or three payments for a $25.00 nonrefundable service fee by doing the following:

  1. Visit http://isis.uark.edu and use the your UARK ID (the first part of your university email address) and password to login to ISIS.

  2. Follow these links to sign up for a payment plan option: Self Service > Student Center

  3. In the Finances section of your Student Center, click the Account Inquiry link and then link the Sign Up for Payment Plan link.

Please Note
If you are receiving financial aid for the term, your Financial Aid may not post to your account before the first payment is due. You may subtract accepted financial aid and divide the remaining balance by the number of installments selected for the first payment due in the installment plan.

  1. To view your account balance visit http://isis.uark.edu and use your Login ID (the first part of your University e-address) and password to sign in.

  2. Follow these links: Self Service > Student Center

  3. In the Finances section of your Student Center, click the Account Inquiry link to view your detailed account breakdown.

Payment Deadline
A $50 late fee may be assessed to any account that does not have an approved payment plan OR is not paid in full by August 28, 2009.

Financial Aid Distribution and Refund Checks

Disbursements made through the first eleven days of classes will be based on actual enrollment. After the eleventh class day, awards and disbursements will be made based on the eleventh day enrollment. Hours that are to be added by overrides will not count towards financial aid unless the override is completed and you are registered for the class before the eleventh class

Disbursement of financial aid and scholarships will begin on August 17, 2009. The processing of refunds will begin three business days after financial aid is disbursed. If you are receiving a refund and would like it to be direct deposited, you may sign up for direct deposit through you Student Center on ISIS. The link is located beneath "account inquiry" on the left side of the screen. If you are receiving a refund check, they are mailed to the last permanent address on record unless a separate check address has been submitted. Please verify the permanent and/or check address before August 14, 2009. Visit http://isis.uark.edu and use your Login ID (the first part of your University e-address) and password to sign in.

To verify/change your addresse follow these links: Self Service > Student Center
In the Personal Information section of your Student Center, click the Address1 or Address2 links to update your address information.
